We are delighted to announce that our Interior Architecture project ‘Spaces for alternative art education at Tudor Jarda School of Art’ was awarded the 1st prize at this year’s Elle Decoration Romanian Design Awards in the 2nd category 'The best design of a public space'. We would like to send a special thanks to everyone involved with the project, to Ovidiu Micsa for the coolest flics ever and last, but not least, the wonderful public who, through their votes, moved the project to the jury's table.
ateliercetrei lands 2nd place in national competition to represent Romania at the 16th International Architecture Exhibition: la Biennale di Venezia!
Our project, 'Space Capsule', lands in 2nd place on the podium in the competition organized by the Ministry of Culture and National Identity, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Romanian Cultural Institute with the help of the Romanian Union of Architects.
In the words of the jury members: 'The emphasis falls on the opening of the boundaries and the tension between unitary surfaces and the differentiation through the third dimension, on the playful inversion of landscape and sky. The architectural discourse is clear and straightforward and suggests a valuable and attractive spatial experience for the visitors.'
Paul held a lecture on architects and architecture at Lions Club 360’s event ‘Meet Your Future’!
Saturday, November 11th Paul held a lecture on architects and architecture for 11th and 12th-grade high school students from established Cluj-Napoca based high-schools. The lecture was part of a day-long event titled ‘Meet Your Future’ destined to give high school students a brief, but down to earth, insight into the fields of 6 professions: psychology, ICT, law, medicine, architecture, HR. The education and charity event, hosted by Impact Hub, was organized by Cluj-Napoca-based Lions Club 360.

We are delighted to announce that our Interior Architecture project for the 6 out of the 8 ‘Spaces for alternative art education at Tudor Jarda School of Art’ was awarded the 1st prize within Romanian Building Awards 2017 as well as a special prize awarded by Romanian Association for Lighting (ARI)

Choreography studio: classic/modern/contemporary dance and Fashion studio get a nod at BATRA 2017!
We proudly announce that our project for the interiors of SPATJ's Choreography studio: classic/modern/contemporary dance and Fashion studio brought us a new distinction: Nomination in the 6th category, Interior Architecture and Scenography, of the 2017 Transylvanian Biennial of Architecture.

Paul invited to a roundtable on the topic of architectural education at BATRA 2017!
Paul was invited by the editors - and on the framework - of '2.14 Tipuri de Scoli de arhitectura /2.14 Types of architectural schools' book to a roundtable on the topic of architectural education alongside editors Ina Stoian and Alexandru Belenyi and architects and educators Adrian Iancu (dean of Cluj-Napoca's Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning), Vlad Rusu and Tiberiu Bucsa and students Oana Avram and Victor Stefan.
The event will take place within BATRA 2017 on Wednesday, October 11th, from 19hrs in the patio of Cluj-Napoca's Arts Museum.

SPATJ’s Choreography studio: classic/modern/contemporary dance and Fashion studio will be featured within the Architecture section while one of polimasa’s prototypes will be exhibited in the Object design section.
