We are delighted to announce that our Interior Architecture project ‘Spaces for alternative art education at Tudor Jarda School of Art’ was awarded the 1st prize at this years Elle Decoration Romanian Design Awards in the 2nd category 'The best design of a public space'. We would like to send a special thanks to everyone involved with the project, to Ovidiu Micsa for the coolest flics ever and last, but not least, the wonderful public who, through their votes, moved the project on the jury's table.
Our project, 'Space Capsule', lands on the 2nd place of the podium in the competition organized by the Ministry of Culture and National Identity, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Romanian Cultural Institute with the help of the Romanian Union of Architects.
In the words of the jury members: 'The emphasis falls on the opening of the boundaries and the tension between unitary surfaces and the differentiation through the third dimension, on the playful inversion of landscape and sky. The architectural discourse is clear and straightforward and suggests a valuable and attractive spatial experience for the visitors.'
